Our guarantee covers the most serious parrot diseases. If your veterinarian diagnoses any of the following within 3 days of arrival, contact us immediately.
Polyoma

A highly contagious herpesvirus that can cause rapid liver failure in parrots.
Psittacosis
A bacterial infection affecting the respiratory system. Reportable in most U.S. states.
PBFD

Documentation Included With Every Bird
Avian Vet Health Certificate
Issued within 10 days of shipment. Required by airlines and confirms your bird is healthy for travel.
CITES Captive-Bred Certificate
CITES Appendix I documentation proving your bird was legally captive-bred — not wild-caught.
Hatch Certificate & Band Number
Unique identification for your bird. Required for CITES compliance and interstate transport.
DNA Sexing Certificate
Confirms the sex of your bird before purchase. Male or female — guaranteed.
If Your Parrot Becomes Ill
- Step 1. Contact an avian veterinarian within 24 hours of noticing symptoms.
- Step 2. Email us at [email protected] with the diagnosis and vet contact information.
- Step 3. We will review the case and work with you on a resolution — replacement or refund depending on circumstances.
Guarantee is void if the bird is exposed to other birds, improper diet, or improper cage setup within the first 30 days.
