Congo African Greys (CAG) are larger with a bright red tail and silver plumage, typically $1,700–$3,500. Timneh African Greys (TAG) are smaller with a dark maroon tail and charcoal feathers, typically $1,500–$1,600. Both are exceptional talkers — Timnehs often mature faster and are slightly calmer.
