bird is CITES Appendix I captive-bred with full legal documentation, USDA Animal
Welfare Act (AWA) licensed, PCR DNA-sexed, and avian-vet health certified. We never
source, sell, or facilitate wild-caught birds of any species.

## CITES Compliance Statement
Every African Grey we sell is captive-bred in the United States. African Greys
(Psittacus erithacus, Congo; Psittacus timneh, Timneh) are listed on CITES Appendix I
(uplisted from Appendix II at CoP17, effective January 2017) and are IUCN Endangered
(Congo) / Vulnerable (Timneh) in the wild. Captive-bred Appendix-I birds are legal to
own and transfer domestically with proper documentation. Every C.A.Gs bird ships with
complete CITES Appendix I captive-bred paperwork. We do not source, sell, or
facilitate the sale of wild-caught parrots of any species.

- USDA Animal Welfare Act (AWA) licensed breeder
- CITES Appendix I captive-bred documentation provided with every bird
- PCR DNA-sexed birds (lab-confirmed, not visual sexing)
- Board-certified avian-vet health certificate (within 10 days of travel)
- PBFD (Psittacine Beak & Feather Disease) and Polyomavirus screening
- Hatch certificate + closed leg band; fully weaned, hand-raised (12–16 weeks)
- 3-day written health guarantee
